On 2024.07.12, with full awareness,
Dr. Valpola Kalyana Tissa Nayaka Thero,
the founder of the Sri Kalyana Buddhist Foundation and the Chief Preceptor of the Basel Buddhist Vihara, passed away. May the gates of the supreme Nirvana be open to him!

The cremation ceremony will be held on Saturday, 2024.07.27, at 2:00 PM in Geneva. We announce this with deep sorrow.
