Muttiah Chandrasekaran passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on 23rd September 2023 in Colombo.

Mr. Chandrasekaran received his education and training from Technical College, IIT Bangalore, and NTT Japan, spent most of his professional life at Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), and retired as Superintendent Engineer—post retirement he founded and was MD of Electronic Engineering Systems Pvt Ltd (EESPL).

Chandrasekaran the son of late Muttiah and Nagaratnam, husband of Maheswari (UK), father of Guruparan (UK), father-in-law of Vanessa (UK), grandfather of Anushka (UK), Hari (UK) and, Uma Anastasia (UK), brother of late Mutthukumarasamy, late Subramaniam, late Vimaladevi, Saraswathy (Singapore), Leelavathi (Canada), and Macillamani (Thavady)

Chandrasekaran was born in Malaya and returned with his parents to their native home of Thavady, Jaffna.

The funeral will be held at Jeyaratne Funeral Parlour, Borella, Colombo 08 on 26th September 2023 from 08.30 am till 01.30 pm.
