With profound sadness, we announce the passing away of  
Mrs. Nalyini Devi Balasubramanium
on the 27th of March 2024, at her residence in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

She was the beloved Daughter of Late Mr.Kanagaratnam and Late Mrs. Lakshmi,
 Cherished wife of the Late Mr. N. Balasubramanium, beloved mother of Mrs. Nanthini Baraneetharan and Mr. Nantha Balasubramanium (France), and cherished mother-in-law of Mr. R. Baraneetharan, an Accountant at Ceylon Electricity Board and  adored grandmother of Sahishnavi and Gobiraam,

She was also the  younger sister of Late Mrs. Maheshwari,Late Mrs.Puvaneshwari and Late Mrs.Ghandhimati and caring elder sister of Late Mrs. Thaiyalnayagi, loving sister in law of Late Mr.Arunachelam, Late Mr.Somasundharam, Late Mr.Velayutham and Late Mr. Sivabalasundharam.

Her mortal remains were kept at  Mahinda Funeral Parlour, Mt. Lavinia from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm on the 28th of March 2024. Funeral ceremonies commenced at 12:30 pm, and the cortege departed in between 1:15 pm and 1:45 pm for the General Cemetery, Mount Lavinia, where she was cremated at 2:00 pm.
